On the Ontological Study in Second Language Teaching

the ontological study of language is a very important issue in second language teaching,but has been marginalized in recent years.This paper empirically illustrates that the ontological study can help shorten the process of second language learning and can be conducive to error analysis and contrastive analysis between languages.This paper calls for more ontological studies so that achievements made in this respect can be introduced to classroom teaching.
