Comment on"the Analysis of Three-level Elements" by Prof. Yuan Mai

The Modern Chinese written by Yuan Mai, a professor of Guizhou Education College, was published by The Sichuan University Press in 1996. In the book, a new method of analyzing a sentence - the analysis of three-level elements - is put forward to analyze simple sentences. Based on the traditional methods of analyzing the parts of sentence and the structural linguistics of the US, the method has taken in their advantages and excluded their disadvantages, and so is good for its simplicity, preciseness and science, practicability and thus deserve application.
