The mathematical model on map content generalization of qualitative and quantitative character

Based on classification and included relation of concept extension,the authors give the mathematical model of quality character generalization.On the basis of quantity definition they induce the grade distance concept.Then according to the included relation that the big grade distance includes the small grade distances in two partial-ordering sets, they give the map content generalization mathematical model of quantitative character.
