This paper discusses the conceptions and characteristics of agent and MAS(MultiAgent System), and illuminates MAS is suitable for modeling CSCW.This paper proposes the modeling method of agentbased CSCW system and the formalization of agent and CSCW system,and explains how to utilize KQML as communication language in agentbased CSCW system.
