Semantic Research on Relational Database

Database is a structured collection of data.It is a necessary component of all kinds of application.So far,the RDBMS is the most widely used DBMS.The data structure of relational database is simple,storing and accessing data is very efficient.But at the same time it is lack of semantic.And there are restrictions on the application of Knowledge System.Therefore this article introduces the concept of ontology,and implants ontology in relational database.Thus add semantic information and reasoning mechanism for it in order to make RDBMS to be semantic and can apply to Knowledge System.
