Research of Iu-PS interface monitor technology in TD-SCDMA network

This paper introduces the basic conception and function of Iu-PS interface in TD-SCDMA, and proposes a Iu-PS interface monitor scheme that divides the Iu-PS interface monitor into three modules. Then, the decoding methods for RANAP, GMM, and SM were analyzed. The synthesis technology of overall CDR and sub-service CDR on Iu-PS interface and the statistical method of statistical index based on synthesis were presented to solve the technological problems in the process of Iu-PS interface testing. The solution has been implemented in the TD-SCDMA analyzer and monitoring system and got good results by the real network testing.
