A Method of Integrating Geostatistics into GIS

This paper addresses the necessity of integrating geostatistical method into a GIS system from the aspect of the application.First,the geostatistical principles are introduced.Then it evaluated and analyzed the geostatistics method which is currently applied in GIS.It put forward an effective method of developing geostatistical model which is based on object-oriented and component technology.It also defined the composition and division of the component.
