XU Chong-yang · Systems engineering and electronics · 2003

Intersymbol interference is one of the major factors that influence a band-limited communication system. In order to enhance the performance of the digital communication system, equalization technology is always adopted at a receiver. Blind channel equalization has attracted a lot of research interests. The algorithm has a bright application prospect because of its making best use of output sequence statistics. This paper introduces some practical algorithms such as minimal MSE, eigenvalue decomposition, and then brings forward the methods to improve the algorithm performance.
