Seed-driven pattern representation and acquisition of "isa" relation based on Web

The isa relation is a basic semantic relation in knowledge acquisition.In this paper a seed-driven pattern representation and acquisition of isa relation from Chinese corpus is presented and an algorithm of seed acquisition based on pattern features and an algorithm of pattern learning based on feature words are presented.Experimental results demonstrate good performance of the method.
