A new method for improving QoS in switched network

Quality of Service is an effective method to improve the performance of network.It guarantees to reduce the delay of the real-time message.This paper introduces the realization of QoS in switched network.The data stream is disposed smoothly through token bucket.The WFQP(WFQ based priority) is used to schedule the data packet in switch output.At last,this method is simulated with OPNET technology.The result of analysis and simulation shows that the real-time capacity of the network is enhanced effectively.
