ISOMORPHISMS AND TOPOLOGICAL EQUIVALENTS OF CONNECTION-TRANSFORMATION NETWORKS

Zhu C · Chinese Journal of Computers · 1983

The concepts of connection-transformation networks as well as their isomorphisms and topological equivalents are strictly defined, and several simple criteria are introduced. It is easy thereby to show that a lot of existing interconnection networks are isomorphisms or topological equivalents, and some results in [3], [4] and [5] can also be deduced. Some formulas of control structure between isomorphisms or topological equivalents of interconnection networks are presented so as to transfer the algorithms designed on a particular interconnection network to algorithm on its isomorphisms or topolo-gieal equivalents. The concepts and methods suggested in this paper are helpful to the design and analysis of all kinds of new interconnection networks with special requirements of implementation with LSI.
