Design of Measurement System for Graphite Electrode Based on MCGS

A real-time measurement system for graphite electrode was designed.In this system,the control core was configuration software MCGS,PLC was the lower computer,sensors and electric instrument was the end.The parameters of quality,length,specific resistance,bulk density,diameter could be sampled and saved.It had functions of printing and report forms creating.It is proved by a long time working in a carbon material factory that the reliability,accuracy and efficiency of the system are enhanced,the supervision and management of product quality can be easily realized.
