Boundary Contour-tracing Based on Active Contour Model in Medical Imagings

A boundary contour tracing algorithm in medical imagings is presented,which is based on active contour model(snake model).It can follow the contour of the 3 D reconstruction target accurately,and can prevent the tracing from jumping out to the neighbor region through current region.It allows us to change the smoothness of the result contour by parameters interactively,and to define key points of the target contour actively as snake is growing up.
