On Precaution against Academic Misconduct and the Responsibility of Editors of Academic Journals

Starting from the definition of academic misconduct,the paper analyses two root reasons to this phenomenon.By combining his own editing practice,the writer claims that it is obligatory responsibility for editors to stop and restrain academic misconduct by observing moral codes for editors strictly,relying on network resources detection,exerting the role of experts in examining manuscripts,adopting academic norms,enhancing service consciousness and setting up commitment system.
