Research on Service Composition Path Optimizing in Service Composition

Gong Yu-chang · Journal of Chinese Computer Systems · 2008

For service composition research in large-scaled service networks, the service composition path is always much longer than its composition size. This is not suitable under some conditions such as dense services deployment and LAN.Here,a key issue for service path selection is how to select a most suitable service node, with no impact on load balancing,so that the service composition can make the best use of the service resource deployed at the same node to reduce the times of routing. Two factors called holding factor and matching length factor respectively are proposed to adjust the selection of the service node.By simulation, the influence of these two factors on load balancing and service path length is analyzed, and the selection strategies and selection method of these two factors are given.
