Noise Signal Detection Based on Bi-spectrum

The traditional power spectrum analysis can neither provide higher order statistics of signal,nor can it detect useful signal with noise suppression.This paper presents a signal detection method based on bi-spectrum,which is according to the feature that higher order spectra of the Gaussian noise is zero response.Simulation results show that the proposed method can obtain better detection results than the traditional FFT method in the case of low SNR,whether the original signal is mixed with random noise or Gaussian noise.
