Application of polarization filter to the wave-fields decomposition of the ocean bottom multi-component seismic data

The paper discussed the application of polarization filter in the wave-fields decomposition of the ocean bottom multi-component seismic data.It constructed the P wave and PS wave seismic data of a geological model.Polarization filter is applied to the geological model and a real ocean bottom multi-component seismic data.The vector plots before and after decomposition are presented for analyzing the results.PS wave of vertical Z component and P wave of radial(horizontal) R component disappear in the processing results.Polarization filter can effectively do the processing of wave-fields decomposition of the ocean bottom multi-component seismic data.
