Study on the ground state structure of(AgI)_n(n=2～19)cluster based on the genetic algorithm

The ground state structure of(AgI)n(n=2～19)cluster and its relative stability are studied in this paper based on the genetic algorithm with the improved R-VR potential.The result shows that the cage structure adjoined with four rings and six rings are main structure of cluster ground state structure and it will transform to the dense structure gradually with the cluster size increasing and the structure of(AgI)n(n=6,8,9,12,16)are comparatively stable.
