Research on application of the IAM in building software architecture

As a blueprint for system development, software architecture has become a conceptual bond linking all the phases of the development process.Architecture building is a key step in software development. As obscure relations between the requirements and the architecture poses great difficulties on the designing process, how to use information on requirements to establish appropriate architecture has become one of main challenges confronted by software developers. The intermediate architecture model(IAM) established with the CBSP approach offers an effective bridge to link the requirements and the software architecture. The IAM has been successfully applied to the development of the Huaibei coal mining safety management system.
