Java/CORBA Based Distrubuted Information Retrieval Platform

This paper describes the design and Implementation of a distributed retrieval system, which is based on the theory of object Web and the structrue of Java/CORBA. It includes definition of interface, service objects on server side ,retrieval objects on client side. So far it can access information about science and technology of our university on campus network.
