Implementation and Thoughts of Reservoir Information System Construction

Reservoir plays an important role in safeguarding people's livelihood by secure water supply and urban environment beautification.Through an analysis about management characteristics of reservoir in Shenzhen,the thesis makes a presentation of information system framework and decision-making functions of automatic system of hydrological data acquisition and transmission,video surveillance system,water supply metering system,online monitoring system for water quality as well as automatic monitoring system for dam safety.The system employs WEBGIS technology to realize three-dimensional information inquiry of hydrology,hydraulic,water quality,monitoring for dam safety,video,water quantity.Finally,the experiences of reservoir information system construction are summed up.
