Hierarchical fault-tolerant execution framework of migrating workflow

Migrating workflow is a mobile agent-based workflow management technology and reliability is a key problem.However,existing research mostly aims to specific problem without a systematic and uniform resolution.Hence a hierarchical fault-tolerant execution framework of migrating workflow is presented in this paper.Some fault-tolerant schemes as communi-cation scheme,execution scheme and status monitor and recovery scheme are implemented.The elementary experiments show that the schemes can provide reliable communication,execution and maintain consistent status even when fault occurs.Hence the block of workflow due to the fault of migrating instance is reduced dramatically.
