Visualization programming of mapping a 2D ocean data Using IDL Object Graphics

2D oean information is a distribution of physical data.The visualization result of such data not only restrict with destination object' size,but also its map attribute.Making use of IDL object graphics visualization technidque,on the basis of requirement of 2D geometry information presentation,we find out that the key to such information visualization is the optimize output of physical data' s area,destination object' size and view volume' s property.This paper presents a method of using IDL object graphics for 2-D geographic information visualization development.An application for example was given to show,the practice indicates that in visualization application domain it has high usability.
