Design of Assessing System for Information Management of Developing and Utilizing Water Resource Based on GIS in Maoxian County

In order to effectively utilize the water resources of Maoxian, an evaluation system for developing and utilizing water resource based on GIS was designed by combining the evaluation knowledge of water resources development-utilization and geographic information system to provide a strong support in rational utilization of water resources and meet the requirements of economic and social development in Maoxian County. The respects concerned such as demand analysis, system structure, data, functions and system implementation were introduced in this paper.
