Continuous data protection which is booming in recent years is a kind of new disaster backup and recovery technologies.Based on the observations to the characteristics of the identical topology structure of branches of Anhui Tobacco Inc,a universal remote disaster backup and recovery system scheme based on CDP is designed. The scheme can not only be used to provide disaster backup for local base, but also can be used to extend disaster backup using remote base, and especially can copy data from production center to remote backup center just using lowcost 2M bps special line. And data modified at any time can be recovered from the CDP device during disaster recovery.Technical tests and scheme’s practical application in Fuyang branch show that the scheme is feasible.
