The Behavior Description Language for the Autonomous Entities in Computer Generated Forces System(CABDL)

Pang Guo · Acta Simulata Systematica Sinica · 2000

This paper proposes a behavior description language CABDL (Cognition and Action Behavior Description Language) in structured English on the basis of CGF entity's behavior representation method based on action and linear temporal logic. The CABDL is able to describe the cognition behavior and physical behavior of CGF entity in a uniform style, provides the field experts with a “natural interface to collect the CGF entity behavior in battlefield, and could be coded and implemented by engineers easily because of its structured format. It develops the behavior templates to support the behavior reuse and improves the efficiency of behavior generation. The implement method of the CABDL's translation and execution mechanism is also given.
