Present research status and prospects of in-memory data management in big data era

Researches on the in-memory data management technology orienting big data were surveyed.The progress and the new landscape of data management technologies were introduced under big data circumstances.In addition,opportunities and research challenges were identified.Then the current research frontiers were given including the programming model,the hybrid storage architecture and the in-memory computing etc.Finally,the development prospects of the technical and managerial work were discussed.
