XML application system integration based on XQuery

According to the integration requirement of XML application system,a solution combining XQuery engine and multi-tier software architecture design method is presented.Data tier is constructed with data model designed for XQuery and unified interface provided for accessing various kinds of data source.Business tier is composed of XQuery functions which are invoked via XQJ interface,and services are wrapped by Java Beans.Presentation tier is designed with JSP and Google chart technology.A GIS prototype is constructed to demonstrate the solution which meets the requirement of XML application integration and has good promotional value.
