Analysis and Application of Spam Long-tail Phenomenon

With development of the Internet,the network application becomes more widely spread.The email has become an important correspondence and exchange means in the daily life.However,the spam and the viral mail received every day have even surpassed the normal mail in quantity,thus seriously influencing the normal use of email by the user.This article,based on long-tail theoretical concept,briefs the application of long-tail theory,through the statistics and analysis on the filtered spam and viral mail,reveals the long-tail phenomenon of the spam and viral mail.Thus some new means and new ways for controlling and preventing spam and viral mail are achieved.
