Wavelet-based Method for Extracting Vibration Signal Envelope

The rolling bearing signals are investigated in line with the principal that the Wavelet can extract a signal envelope. A Wavelet-based self-information extracting envelope method is applied.Application of the method demonstrates that the method is effective to extract the rolling bearing signal envelope and is useful to analyze the rolling bearing faults.
