Topology Discovery Algorithm Based on MIB-II and Bridge-MIB

As the core of configuration management and resource management infrastructure,complete,accurate and friendly interface with visualization of the network topology is a network fault detection,analysis based on network performance.This paper introduces the classification of physical network topology discovery.Using MIN-Ⅱ and the Bridge-MIB in SNMP device,designed for the network layer topology discovery algorithm and the data link layer topology discovery algorithm,tested the algorithm.The algorithm can accurately found the network layer equipment and connections,can quite accurate to the data link layer topology discovery.
