Objective To observe the effect of blood samples storage time and temperature on coagulation test Methods Eighty blood samples were selected randomly, among them,40 samples were stroed at room temperature and 40 samples stored at 4℃ for 2 and 4 hours respectively for PT?APTT?TT?FIB?Ⅴ?Ⅶ?Ⅷ?Ⅸ?Ⅺ and Ⅻ tests Results The instant determination of coagulation test on samples once drawn was treated as a control An unaccepted deviation of PT?APTT?Ⅴ?Ⅶ?Ⅷ?Ⅸ and Ⅻ results observed while the samples were storaged at room temperature or 4℃ for 2 and 4 hours ( P 0 01 or P 0 05) It is found that PT?Ⅴ?Ⅷ and Ⅸ decreased and APTT?Ⅶ?Ⅻ increased when the storge time of the sample was over two hours conducted performed Conclusion It is recommended that the coagulation test should be determined wihin 2 hours after the blood being draw
