Study on Ontology-based Reasoning System for Rice Pest Diagnosis

On the basis of the features and characters of rice pest in Jiangxi province,an expert knowledge ontology base was developed by using Protege.Based on a method of ontology-based reasoning,pest diagnosis reasoning was realized,and similarity algorithm was applied to solve the diagnosis problem of uncertain knowledge.The rice pest diagnosis system was integrated with some functions,such as diagnosis,control and data query.The system showed a good application value for the diagnosis and control of rice pest in the south red soil hilly area.
