CBIR system design based on feedback characteristic proportion

This paper first discussed the methods of using color and texture features.On the basis of using color and texture features separately,proposed a new method for image retrieval using combined color and texture feature,which used a feedback characteristic proportion that could be adjust with the feedback from consumer,were carried out.From that got the calculated proportion and used it in the retrieval which combined the color and texture characteristic.The experiments show that the retrieval results obtain from combined-features fits more closely with human perception than the retrieval results obtain from single-features.
