Management information system of water resources based on GIS and Flex

The traditional information management system of water resource has a lot of disadvantages including single performing form,simple function and slow response.In this paper,a method to improve the performance of information management system was investigated.A scenario using of Flex and GIS services was proposed.After analyzing the demands of clients,an information management system of supplying water that implements RIA technology was designed to realize the sharing of water resource information.On the basis of GIS service,the functions of spatial analysis and online editing of vector data were developed.
