Key Technologies of Geospatial Data Management Based on Discrete Global Grid System
Lei Wang · 2010
The discrete global grid system(DGGS)is a new class of spatial data structure which represents location and precision of geospatial data synchronously.By analyzing the advantages of DGGS,the idea was presented which integrated multisource and heterogeneous geospatial data using hexagonal DGGS.Correlative key techniques such as high precision grid system, hierarchical grid coding schema, grid index algorithm, grid entity expression model, grid searching algorithm were studied and validated by the prototype system.
