Application of an Advanced Clustering Algorithm in Intrusion Detection

In order to analyse the application of clustering algorithm in intrusion detection,this paper discusses the traditional algorithm of k-means and points out the shortcomings of it.An advanced k-means clustering algorithm based on genetic algorithm is put forward,it changes the shortcomings of k-means.The experiments show that,compared with traditional k-means,the advanced clustering algorithm can improve the efficiency of data clustering.
