Application Development of Bluetooth Low Energy Based on Android System

For application development of bluetooth low energy( BLE) based on Android 4. 3 that involves BLE protocol stack,BLE peripherals and the bigger difference between traditional bluetooth and BLE. The BLE protocol stack with layered structure and key technologies,have stated in the paper. For the BLE stack,from the perspective of programming,application communicating with GATT layer and application specification layer are mainly concerned. For program complexity,layered structure is designed to BLE application. With the difference between traditional bluetooth application development and BLE,the key technologies of BLE application and an application example are further discussed. It has showed that the design is feasible and meets the design requirements through the program results.
