Design of all-digital up-converter system based on FPGA

A new method to realize digital RF up-conversion is presented by using of the chips ′ new features, including the design of interpolation filter for base-band signals, the generation of carrier waves, the parallel processing method of RF signals and the interface design of DAC.Compared with traditional method, this design with the benefit of higher performance, lower cost and better flexibility can extensively be used in CMTS.
