Study on P2P Carrying Strategy in PON Access Network

In order to carry the P2P business efficiently,a IC-P2PTRD(P2P Traffic Re-Direction based on Inspection and Control) strategy aiming at PON access network has been presented.However,the IC-P2PTRD may cause re-direction failure.This study proposed a MIC-P2PTRD(Modified P2P Traffic Re-Direction based on Inspection and Control) strategy on the base of the IC-P2PTRD and carried out an simulation analysis using the network simulation tool NS2,verifying that this strengthened P2P re-direction strategy has certain improvement in lowering the network throughput burden in the core network.
