Independent component analysis for multi-lead simultaneous recording ECS

Independent component analysis (ICA) is a new statistical signal approach- developed with blind signal separation. In this paper- essential theory and algorithm of ICA are addressed- and the ability of ICA to extract independent signal was confirmed in simulation experiment. 4-lead simultaneous recording ECG was also analyzed. The experimental results show that ICA can extract components of multi-lead simultaneous recording ECS-especially the weak one of burying in background.
