The shortcomings of water quality information management tools of Jing-Hang Canal(Xu Zhou section) were analyzed,and the necessity of establish the water quality information management system was proposed.From the aspects of selection of system development platform,database construction and function development,the design and development of water quality information management system of Jing-Hang Canal(Xu Zhou section) were introduced.
