A SPA Based Target Threat Evaluation Model Using Interval Numbers

The air defense has become one of the primary tasks of surface warship formation in the modern sea warfare, and correct threat-level estimation of the coming aerial target is the premises for effective defense. For the Multiple Attribute Decision Making(MADM) problem of threat level estimation,in which all attribute weights and attribute values are interval numbers, the Continuous interval number Ordered Weighted Averaging(C-OWA) operators were used to deal with the interval attribute weights. The interval numbers were transformed into connection numbers by using the theory of Set Pair Analysis(SPA),and an target threat evaluation model was established by using the connection numbers, which could fully reflect the effect of target maneuvering on threat level. An example was given to show that the model is feasible and effective.
