Five problems are discussed in this paper.First,the function of information service industry should be affirmed;second,the character of information work should be clear and definite;third,the development direction of information undertaking should be insisted on;fourth,a small but capable contingent of information workers should be maintained;fifth,the entirety of information work should be given full play to.
