Image Coding Technology Based on Coupled Map Lattice Model

A new method for coding prediction is proposed,which is based on Coupled Map Lattice(CML) model.The novelty of the method proposed resides in CML′s application in image predication,instead of image encryption which is widely used.The simulation results indicate that this novel method shows that the new method has much better performance on prediction precision than JPEG at the cost of slight deterioration of coding efficiency represented by entropy.
