ON LAYERED SERVICE AND MULTICAST FUNCTION IN VoIP NETWORK CONFERENCING SYSTEM

In this paper we first outline the classification of conference models,the analysis emphasis is put on the advantages and disadvantages of distributing audio stream with unicast by the nodes in the conference model of concentrated signaling and distributed media stream,then propose an improved conference system scheme based on layered service,and simultaneously introduce the application layer multicast technology to realize the transmission of audio stream in large scale conference,the construction and performance of the conference multicast tree are discussed as well.
