RESEARCH AND DESIGN OF A NEW TYPE OF P2P-SIP VOIP TELECONFERENCING

To solve the problems of single-point failure and performance bottleneck the SIP services may have in the deployment of teleconferencing under C/S mode,this paper gives a new type of P2P-SIP teleconferencing as a solution with layered services that distribute media data stream using direct and application layer multicast transmission respectively on VIP and Ordinary layer.This design is based on distributed and structured P2P network with the conference model of signalling centralized and media stream distributed,and can meet the needs for the VoIP teleconferencing with a larger amount of participants.
