Analysis on Shortest Path Algorithm in Vehicle Navigation System

The route choice is the core function in vehicle navigation system.Its practicality and efficiency has a major impact on the entire system.From the vehicle navigation point of view,this paper introduces an efficicent algorithm for shortest-path search base on Dijkstra algorithm and implements on PDA devices.The pilot shows that the algorithm can reduce the storage space required and speeds up the computition largely.
