On the Ranks of Certain Regular Subsemigroups of POCK_n

Let POnbe the semigroup of all the order-preserving partial transformations on Xn= {1,2,…,n}for n ≥ 5.Let POCKnbe subsemigroup consisting of kernel with continuous transversal in POn. It is shown thatthe rank of regular subsemigroup in POCKnis equal to2n- 1.
