This study gets the conclusion that the efficiency is relatively low for the universities in the western part of China and most of them are in the state of gradually increasing stage. Therefore, it is a critical problem for related management department of the state and government to enhance the input scale of the education resources in the western area and to increase the output of those areas that were plunged into relatively more resources.
